Social Media for Pharmacies and Medical Stores in Nepal

Nobody follows a pharmacy for entertainment. They follow one because they trust it will have what they need, explained clearly, when they need it.

Content here is about reliability, not virality

A pharmacy does not need trending audio. It needs to be the page that reliably says it is open at 9pm, has the medicine in stock, and can explain a dosage in plain words.

What builds trust without overstepping

A short, honest list of what to post keeps a pharmacy page useful and safe.

  • Stock updates for items people struggle to find, said plainly.
  • Store hours and holiday hours, especially during festivals.
  • A pharmacist explaining how to read a prescription label, not diagnosing anything.
  • Home delivery details, since many customers are ordering for someone else.

Never sell what you cannot legally claim

Any post that promises a cure, a symptom-specific product, or medical advice on camera risks more than it gains. Keep content to information, availability, and service.

Google Maps and WhatsApp matter more than the feed

Someone searching for a pharmacy open near them right now is a customer walking in within the hour. Keeping your map listing and WhatsApp number current does more than a well-shot Reel.

Real examples

Bad line, good line.

Most people write

"All medicines available."

Say this instead

"Open until 10pm daily, home delivery inside Ring Road, call ahead for stock."

Most people write

A generic stock photo of pills.

Say this instead

A pharmacist explaining how to read a prescription label, in plain words.

Full example

Worked example: a pharmacy in Baneshwor

01Post this week stock and hours update, in plain language.
02Check your Google Maps listing has correct hours today.
03Set up a WhatsApp number for stock checks and delivery requests.

Plain-word guidance

Reading a label, never a diagnosis.

Delivery details

Who delivers, how fast, how to order.

A pharmacy is chosen for being there, not for being interesting.

Do this week

Three things you can do now.

01Post this week stock and hours update, in plain language.
