How Often Should You Post on Social Media in Nepal?

The right answer is the highest number you can keep up for six months without the quality dropping. For most Nepali businesses that is less than the internet tells you.

A straight starting point

Three to four short videos a week across your platforms is enough to grow if the videos are good. Two excellent videos beat six rushed ones, every time.

Consistency beats volume

Platforms reward regular publishing, and audiences build a habit around it. A page that posts twice a week for a year outperforms one that posts daily for a month and disappears.

  • Pick a schedule you can hold in your busiest month, not your calmest.
  • Batch filming so one session covers two weeks of posts.
  • Keep a small backlog so a bad week does not break the streak.
  • Judge results over a full month, never over one post.

Stories and posts are different budgets

Stories can be daily and rough. Feed videos should be fewer and finished. Mixing the two standards is what makes brands look inconsistent.

When to increase

Only raise your frequency once your current schedule is comfortable and your people are still watching. Frequency grows whatever quality you already have, good or bad.

Real examples

Bad line, good line.

Most people write

Posting daily for three weeks, then nothing for two months.

Say this instead

Three good videos a week, every week, filmed in one session a fortnight.

Most people write

"We post whenever we have time."

Say this instead

"Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday. Filmed on the first Sunday of the month."

Full example

Worked example: a schedule that survives Dashain

01Choose a weekly number you could hold during your busiest week, not your calmest.
02Batch film two weeks of content in one session with the same setup.
03Keep two finished videos in reserve so a bad week does not break the run.

Where the enquiries actually convert.

Two good videos a week beats seven rushed ones.

The best posting schedule is the boring one you can actually keep.

Do this week

Three things you can do now.

01Choose a weekly number you could hold through your busiest month.
02Batch film two weeks of content in one session.
03Review results monthly, not post by post.
